The first weekend in October Elizabeth, Shawn and Sue jetted off to Las Vegas for the World's Biggest Tattoo Show, put on by Mario Barth, owner of Starlight Tattoo. The convention boasted over 1,000 tattoo artists all buzzing the weekend away, with such notables as Bob Tyrell, Tomy Olivas, Robert Pho, Boris, as well as the Borneo Headhunters and the Horitoshi Family. Lyle Tuttle was there with his traveling Tattoo Museum and Shawn and Sue got to catch up with tattoo legend, Shanghai Kate who was in attendance with Sailor Jerry Collin's widow, Louise Collins, raising money to fight for her rightful share of the Sailor Jerry merchandise line.

Being two of the working artists at the show, Shawn and Sue are now forever etched in the annals of the "Guinness World Records" as the 2009 show was listed as the biggest tattoo convention in the world. Wow! I wonder if they'll do the talk show circuit? In addition to staying busy most of the weekend, the gang had a surprise visitor on Saturday, when Sylvester Stallone himself made the rounds at the convention and stopped at The Ultimate booth.
